How it works

01

Drop your PDF

Existing form fields are read straight from the file. Flat PDFs can be scanned for likely blanks with one click.

02

Fill or add fields

Type directly on the page, or draw text fields, checkboxes, multiple choice, dropdowns and lists wherever you need them.

03

Download the result

You get a standard PDF that opens and fills in any viewer, or a flattened copy that's ready to send.

Why use forms locally

Personal data stays personal

Applications, tax forms and contracts are full of names and numbers. Here, they never pass through a third party's server.

Standard fields, any viewer

Fields are real PDF form fields, so the file works in Acrobat, Chrome, Preview and mobile readers.

No account, no page limits

Everything runs on your device's own processor, so there's no upload cap, watermark or sign-up.

Frequently asked questions

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?

No. The file is opened and edited inside your browser tab. This site is static, so there is no server that could receive it.

How does automatic field detection work?

If the PDF already has fillable fields, they load instantly. For flat PDFs, "Detect fields automatically" looks for underscore or dotted lines, labels that end with a colon, and checkbox symbols, then places fields there. It's a best guess, so review the results and adjust.

Can I make a scanned document fillable?

Scans have no text for the detector to read, so draw the fields yourself: choose "Add or edit fields", pick a field type, then click or drag on the page.

Which field types are supported?

Text fields (multi-line when drawn tall), checkboxes, multiple choice (radio buttons), dropdowns and lists. For multiple choice, draw one button per answer and give them the same group name.

What does flatten do?

It prints your answers into the page and removes the interactive fields. Use it for a final copy; leave it off if someone else still needs to fill the form.

Will my answers show in other PDF viewers?

Yes. Appearances are generated for every field, so values display in Acrobat, Chrome, Preview and most mobile apps.

What isn't supported?

Password-protected PDFs, digital signature fields and JavaScript-driven form logic aren't handled. Text uses a standard Latin font, so characters outside it may not save.
