Paste an article, essay or report below. This tool pulls out its most important sentences inside your browser — no server, no account, no waiting on a queue.
Every sentence above is taken word for word from your text, so nothing is invented or reworded.
Type, paste, or drop a text file. It loads straight into the page with no network request involved.
Each sentence is scored on how central its ideas are to the whole text, and repeated points are filtered out, all on your device's own processor.
Read the key points, switch to a paragraph, then copy the result or save it as a text file.
Drafts, meeting notes, research and private documents stay on your machine instead of passing through a third party's server.
The summary is built from your own sentences, so it can't add claims that aren't in the source.
Once this page is loaded, summarizing doesn't need the network again.
It uses a real text-analysis algorithm (TextRank combined with TF-IDF term weighting) that runs in your browser. It selects the most important sentences from your text. It does not rewrite them the way a chat model would. The trade-off is that the wording stays yours and nothing gets invented, but the result won't be paraphrased or merged into new sentences.
No. The analysis runs in this browser tab and nothing is sent to a server. You can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it still works.
It compares every sentence with every other one and gives a higher score to sentences whose key terms recur across the text. It adds a small boost for opening sentences and removes near-duplicates. Then it puts the chosen sentences back in their original order so the summary reads naturally.
Up to about 50,000 words. Very long texts take a few seconds on older phones. For the best results the text should be at least 100 words, because there is not much to rank in a short passage.
English gives the best results, since it uses an English stop-word list. Other languages that separate words with spaces (Spanish, French, German and more) work but with somewhat less accuracy. Languages written without spaces, such as Chinese or Japanese, are not supported yet.
They control how many sentences are kept, roughly 12%, 22% or 35% of the original, with sensible minimums and maximums. If you change the length after a summary appears, it updates straight away.
Copy the text from the PDF or page and paste it in, or open a .txt or .md file. Direct PDF upload is not part of this tool.
The tool judges importance by how often ideas recur, not by what matters to you. Try the Detailed length, or paste in only the section you care about. Numbers or facts mentioned just once can be ranked low.
